Terms & conditions

  1. DRESS CODE – Jeans, T-Shirts, sportswear, slippers, or sneakers are strictly
  2. BOOKING is strictly for Royal Selangor Club members and members of affiliated clubs with a valid introduction card
  3. PARKING – Due to limited parking facilities at Dataran, the Club CANNOT accommodate parking on the premises. However, indoor parking is available adjacent to the Club at the Dataran basement parking lot at your own cost. Any additional parking will be charged at RM30.00 (maximum of 2 parking lots only).
  4. DISPLAYS AND SIGNAGE – No items are allowed to be attached, pinned, nailed, screwed, stapled, or glued to the walls, doors, or any other surfaces. The use of Bluetac is acceptable.
  5. STRICTLY NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED – Due to food hygiene regulations, leftover food from the event will not be permitted to be taken away.
  6. DAMAGES – The member making this booking is liable to pay for ANY damage to the Club’s properties. The amount of such cost shall be assessed by the General Committee, whose decision shall be final. The Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any articles of property brought onto the Club premises by the member or their guests attending this event.
  7. MEMBERS’ GUESTS – Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests follow club rules and regulations. During functions, guests of members are limited to the Banquet Hall area only. No guest of any member of the club shall, under any circumstances, incur any financial liability to the club or sign on behalf of a member. Members are allowed to bring guests accordingly to the number of confirmed attendees stated in the Rules of Event Booking.
  8. TENTATIVE BOOKING – will be held for a period of 7 days After this time, the space will be released if room rental has not been paid. The cost of room rental is required to secure and confirm your booking. Full room rental charges must be paid within seven days of the confirmed booking; otherwise, the entire booking will be cancelled.
  9. OUTSTANDING PAYMENT / BILLING – Members are required to settle the full amount of food costs, rental, and miscellaneous charges before the event date. Other costs incurred, including beverages, must be paid within 2 days after the event’s completion.
  10. The Royal Selangor Club reserves the right to cancel any event if full details of the said event are not disclosed.
