10 January This year’s championship featured both Singles and Doubles events, with keenly contested matches throughout the day. Players demonstrated high levels of skill, focus, and sportsmanship, providing enjoyable and engaging matches for all in attendance.

Special visit by Malaysia’s No. 1 player Adding to the excitement of the month was a special visit by Malaysia’s current No. 1 player, who recently achieved an outstanding feat by winning two gold medals at the SEA Games. His presence was a tremendous honour for the club and a memorable experience for members. During his visit, he played a few friendly games with members, generously sharing his time, skill, and insights. He also took numerous photographs with members and club staff, creating lasting memories and further strengthening the bond between elite-level sport and the club community. The Billiards Section would like to extend its sincere appreciation for the visit and inspiration he provided. January proved to be a fantastic start to the year, blending competitive billiards with meaningful engagement and shared pride in Malaysian sporting excellence. We look forward to more exciting activities and events in the months to come.
